Myrkulverse D&D Campaign Log - Iron Kingdoms

Session 118

28th of Solesh

In the Bag (accurate at the end of the session): 66,679 (money modified for last loot and thrall), 8200 Bank Note, 5 Concordance (15,926G in Ike’s Monastery, 10gp in Rayven’s pocket).

Ike gloriously transforms into the Avatar of Myrkul.(A song plays) Light and dark, Black and White, Up and Down… he is the glory of the niiIiiIiIiIiiiight!!! His body goes into a casket, something happens, and a new bonier version comes out!!!

Upon bearing the glory of Myrkul, Ike excitedly remarks “Nice.”.

Myrkul is touched by his exuberance.

He uses his S/M (Super Myrkul) Chains to bind Noiren Prime. Taking him out of the fight, for a moment.

Noiren Fake surprises Sinsear and runs him over like a dog in the driveway. A lot of discussion occurs.

A fireball shoots forth, towards the hero, and strikes him. Fireball is dumb and all AoEs in this game are dumb.

This session is full of surprises and transformations, the hero is given a gentle touch to his extraordinarily firm buttox by Shadow, whom now greatly questions his sexuality. A power reverberates off those platinum cheeks and transforms the hero into even more of a hero. His sword glows with a glowing power that indicates he will do painful things.

The hero assess the situation, stares down the line of enemies, and gently whispers the word… Bankay. SSSSLLLLASSSSSSHHHHHHHH, power erupts from his blade and slaughters countless infernal minions while putting the fear of Myrkul in the others.

Ike uses his emo fists and does solid damage.

Sensing danger… Prime Noiren retreats into the portal to escape the grapening. Shadow uses his powers to hurtle Ike into the abyss after him. Ike goes to work and drops his staff of fairness and balance, for the last time. The staff cracks and breaks from the weight of the tears it calls forth from enemies and DM’s.

The true hero is blessed by Myrkul and his super slash recharges because he is the chosen of Myrkul and not chosen by the party. The true hero capitalizes upon the opportunity created by the staff of fairness and balance, and unleashes fucking hell on Noiren Prime… ending his reign of annoyance. Ike literally cries and sobs… you could hear him repeating the words “It is finally over…” over and over again, under his breath.

The true hero realizes the notes for the last session do not fully encapsulate the bad assery that occured

We exit the portal and Suffer notices that something has changed with the party. He makes a few witty remarks but you could hear a bit of hesitation in his banter. He knows a butt fucking is coming.

Suffer assaults the hero with a wave of cheesy aoe damage… but it isn’t enough. He uses ANOTHER wave of cheesball aoe damage… but it isn’t enough. He uses his lair action and summons ANOTHER cheesy ball of lame aoe damage… BUT IT ISNT ENOUGH.

At this point, it is Suffer’s turn. He takes a deep breath and summons all the cheese. He connects to the cheese force to locate all our team mates… attempting to Jihadi super cheese bomb ALL OF THEM at once.

Seeing a threat to his fellow Myrkulites, the true hero then does something truly heroic. He grits his manly teeth and grabs hold of Suffer, like Goku taking hold of a bloated Cell. He stares into Suffer’s eyes while he unleashes his fury… and Suffer blinks. The true hero selflessly saves the party.

The true hero eats the fucking blast like a champ… then AGAIN, MYRKUL BLESSES HIM WITH A RECHARGE ON HIS FUCKING SUPER SLASH. While not breaking eye contact he cuts down Suffer with his power strike… BECAUSE THE TRUE HERO OF MYRKUL WILL NOT SUFFER THE HERETIC OR TOLERATE THE MUTANT. The heretic Suffer and the mutant Noiren both die at the hands of the true hero.

Yah, it was that bad ass.

They quickly search the remains of the building and get some potions/moolah. Nerion kicks back a couple health pots to recharge his aura. A few infernals guard the portal but enough fun is had. They take Suffer and Noiren Prime’s bodies.

Three living bad asses TP back to Nerion’s crib. Two low-t ghosts await them and quiver from their powerful sigma ohio vibes. The party notices something weird is happening and follows a mysterious blackish smoke that is emanating from the bodies and trailing upwards to Myrkul’s Favorite Little Chapel.

They are offered choices by Myrkul for their bad assery.

Session 119

28th of Solesh

We spent the first 15 minutes pondering how to get Noiren’s body through the portal but eventually figured it out. Shadow grabbed one of its weapons and headed toward the portal, while Ike grabbed the other and exited. As he stepped through, he paused to snort some Sinsear ash. Suffer tried to grapple Ike but failed, though he did manage to land a hit. Nerion struck him hard, leaving him bloodied. Shadow exited the portal and dispelled it, pleasing the gods.

Suffer tried some tricks on Ike, dealing some damage, but Ike made his way to Shadow and gave him Myrkul’s blessing. Nerion attacked Suffer again, inflicting severe damage. With his final attack, Nerion sacrificed all his health in a blow that knocked him out, enduring the suffering as he killed Suffer, defeating the second-to-last lieutenant and Noiren.

Ike then found the last two casters, and shouting Myrkul’s name, destroyed them. While looting the area, Whosdad found a few interesting papers and some undetermined loot. Ike found 10 healing potions among dozens of breastplates, chain shirts, pistols, rifles, etc., and took 13 rifles. He also found several individuals with suicide vests and convinced half a dozen to follow Myrkul. We also discovered another 13 followers in the lower levels.

At the end of the session, we teleported to the Temple of the Undying Servitude. We sacrificed the bodies of Suffer and Noiren and prayed to Myrkul…

Session 120

1st of Balesh

In the Bag (accurate at the end of the session): 66,679 (money modified for last loot and thrall), 8200 Bank Note, 5 Concordance (15,926G in Ike’s Monastery, 10gp in Rayven’s pocket). Adjustments soon to follow cause be we spending.

The prayer is answered!

The party gathered at the Alter of Myrkul. Many of the local inhabitants of the temple were also present. The alter began to sink into an unholy darkness and what we had come to recognize as an Avatar of Myrkul appeared. He instructed Sinsear to place his shield upon the alter and Nerion to stop scratching that itch in his special place.
Sinsear placed his shield upon the alter.
A moment later, a tear in the fabric of reality appeared and a shadowy figure resembling a Tabaxi appeared. The Avatar of Myrkul gestured and a blob of ephemeral goop was pulled from the Tabaxi onto the alter. The Tabaxi was dismissed and poofed off to some other realm.
The darkness began to fade and the candles in the room shone with that ever loving purple light we all enjoy.
Now resting on the alter was an imposing bone shield and a blood red splinter shard.
Nerion and Sinsear both procured their respective items with gratitude.
The crowd let out a cheer and began to chant in supplication to Myrkul.
Little ghostly Dana approached the group and expressed gladness for those that survived the ordeal intact. She also renewed Shadow’s happy charm, which reduced her apparent age even further. After which, Shadow made some sort of comment that caused Rayven to send him partway back the blackness of death. But in a friendly, I love you, kind of way.

At this time, Leo-tard calls for a mighty feast.
Nerion decided to roam around a bit and survey his territory. Everything seemed calm for the moment.
Sinsear and Rayven, still in their ghostly forms, felt they should give the denizens of the temple a good spooking.
During the awesome festivities, Sinsear performs a spectacular feat of terror and causes one of the trade merchants to literally die of fright. Sinsear is pleased with himself.
After letting his fellows know what happened, they decide to use the core remains of Dumnar to create a new thrall companion from the corpse, better than it was before. Better, faster, stronger… And it shall be named ???
Over the next week, the party recuperated, Shadow made some potions, Ike hunted with his pooch, and the rest visited Dieter for some equipment upgrades.

At the end of the week, we find the party perusing through Thorne’s wares in search of goodies to waste our money on.

Moving ons…

Shadow sends several familiar towards Abyssal Fortress, one succeeds and we gain casually familiarity with the area. Shadow then sends his Simulacrum to obtain a sandstone approximately 5 miles north along the abyss shelf. He then sends his hawk familiar towards the fortress, seeing several people along the wall, wearing red robes with black accents. no movement in the courtyard or around the tower. Shadow rolls an insight and feels that this is a skeleton crew for this place.

It is noon when the reconnaissance is done. The party takes a long rest and teleports, using the sandstone, around 8/9 pm to approximately 5 miles north. We each lose 1 hit die, killing the portal thingy upon arrival.

Upon arriving at the keep, everyone at the fortress opens fire with a magic missile cannon, firing hundreds of missiles at the party. Shadow steps to the front and draws them all to him, casting a shield and negating the missiles.

A note came through for swallow and he went through a portal apparatus. We then determine that swallow is with petal at her fortress.

We then go back and reset, after rolling through swallows fortress, and get a long rest in before porting to nearby Petals fortress and stealth our way in. We set ourselves up on the roof and see a massive ambush waiting for us. We then quickly devise a plan to do an opening salvo.

Sinsear drops an exploding rat onto swallow, who is somehow immune to fire.
Shadow drops a meteor swarm into the courtyard, but it is dispelled due to a barrier at the opening and a good roll from Petal.

Combat then begins and Shadow, going first in combat, casts dispel magic at 4th level, interrupting the film on this section of the roof for 4 rounds (rolled a 4 on the d4), limiting any effects for people dropping in.

Session 122: 9th Belesh

7775 gold in pocket / 0 Concordance

The battle kicks off with Sinsear casting “The Real” on Ike and Rayven, granting them truesight to discern any illusions and hopefully spot Petal. Ike wastes no time, firing his flechette pistol—empowered with both Accuracy and Spectral Mark runes—at Swallow before leaping down to dispatch two missile launcher minions. Rayven also jumps down, and Shadow manages to cast feather fall right before he leaps, preventing him from falling on his ass. Rayven lands amidst a cluster of missile launchers, unleashing Shadow Flame to incinerate all but one. Nerion hastes himself, jumps into the melee, and cuts down another minion.

The surviving missile launchers retaliate, peppering Rayven with projectiles. Meanwhile, the visage of Petal delivers a prerecorded speech, expressing confusion at our animosity as we are undead and she is on good terms with the Dragonfather. She then promises the “Eternal Bloom” will rise soon and directs Swallow to take out the group.

Swallow shoves his infinitely regenerating pig aside and lunges at Rayven, seizing him and attempting to force him into his cavernous maw. Meanwhile, the Nonokrion Reavers reposition: two grapple Nerion, pinning him down, while another swipes at Ike, landing a glancing blow before Ike knocks it back. Rayven takes a searing hit from a Reaver’s beam cannon as the soulbound thralls close in. Nerion deflects one of their strikes with a shield, but Swallow succeeds in latching onto Rayven, swallowing him whole.

Shadow targets Swallow with a mental spell, but he shrugs it off. Sinsear selects a swath of the battlefield and casts Ally of Time, bending reality to the party’s favor. Ike punches a thrall away, vaults onto a Reaver, and lands a critical strike. Channeling energy through Necrolucent, he unleashes a blast that obliterates the Reaver, a missile launcher, and singes two thralls.

Inside Swallow’s stomach, Rayven finds himself cocooned in a pocket of the Infernal Plane. Using shadowstride, he steps outside the cocoon and backstabs it. The structure implodes, spitting him back through Swallow’s mouth onto the Material Plane in a dramatic regurgitation. Nerion, dodging attacks, strikes Swallow with a weaken and a bleed. Swallow retaliates with a hellish rebuke, but Nerion counterspells it. The remaining missile launchers turn on Nerion, dealing minor damage.

Swallow, annoyed at the resistance the melee force is putting up, spots the casters, teleports to the roof, and snatches Shadow, swallowing him whole. Trapped in the Infernal Plane, Shadow calls down a meteor swarm on his own position, blasting himself free and reappearing on the roof amidst the devastation. Ike easily scales the building, grabs Swallow, and with an RKO out of nowhere, slams him back to the surface inside Sinsear’s Ally of Time. Rayven rises and delivers a vicious backstab, followed by Ike landing another critical blow. Swallow tries to swallow Ike next but can’t get a grip.

Nerion steps in, slashing Swallow with another weaken and a point-blank bleed, finally knocking him unconscious. Rayven weathers a volley of magic missiles and shields against a Reaver’s soul-sucking orb. Petal’s illusion resumes its prerecorded monologue, unfazed. The Reavers try their soul-draining trick on Ike, but he proves immune; they manage to siphon a sliver of life from Nerion instead, holding off Swallow’s permanent demise for a moment longer. The thralls swarm Rayven, but their efforts amount to little more than an annoyance.

With the fight going a little smoother than expected thus far, the Party is on high alert for trickery, especially as Petal has yet to show herself. The anti-magic barrier will remain inactive for 12 seconds.

Session 123: 9th Belesh

Shadow super nukes a group of noobies. Sincere breaks the mind of the fireball grouping. Ike goes ham on some swordsman to get some souls…. A DARK AURA EMANATES FROM THE DARK MONK. RAY UNLOADS A SUPER BACKSTAB ON SWALLOW. NERION FINISHES HIM OFF AND LETS THE WEAPON FEEEEEEEED. Minions attacks the group and Ray gets pounded, nothing new.

We we a tingle as the anti magic field is removed. Shadow let’s out a powerful AoE and we hear some wings beating??!

Session 124: 9th Belesh
7775 gold in pocket / 0 Concordance

A sense of incoming doom hangs over us as we finish mopping up the last of the bad guys. Those with true sight see a shadow descending — a dragon (Charsaug) approaches! Ike teleports onto the dragon’s back and rides the beast. Rayven summons George, his shadow drake.

Charsaug teleports, trying to shake Ike off. Ike falls but easily lands safely. Nerion weakens the dragon, and in retaliation, Charsaug flames the party! Rayven lands a massive backstab, nearly killing the dragon while healing himself. Nerion seizes the moment and smacks the dragon from the sky. To no one’s surprise, the dragon turns out to be Petal — the person we’ve been searching for.

Nerion tries to hide, but Petal chases him down for a make-out session. When Nerion rebuffs her, she bitch-slaps him for hefty damage. Shadow yeets a hasted Ike at Petal like a guided missile! Realizing the danger, Petal beguiles Nerion into protecting her — and the weak-willed Nerion obeys…

Session 125: 9th Belesh
7775 gold in pocket / 0 Concordance

The session kicked off with Nerion mysteriously charmed by Petal, leaving the party stumped on how to break the enchantment. Amid the confusion, Shadow launched a fireball at Nerion just for fun, burning both in the blast. Another fireball, this time radiant, fizzled harmlessly.

Sinsear stepped up and successfully removed the charm from Nerion—only for Petal to immediately re-charm Nerion through suspiciously dubious means. Sensing the chaos, Ike made a clutch move, grabbing Petal with his signature brute strength, dragging her to the distortion, and shackling her with Stygian Chains, causing psychic backlash.

Ray fired an umbra bolt at Petal. Nerion, still under Petal’s influence, tried to restore and protect her. The Reaver struck at Ike but missed, while Petal did nothing (suspiciously). Shadow managed to dispel some effects, clearing the field a bit. Sinsear followed up with mind daggers, and Ike added some extra punishment.

Petal then charmed Ray—but a glitch in the magic made him hear Nerion’s voice instead of hers. Not charmed, Ray retaliated viciously, landing a massive stab that killed Petal, though he took poison damage in return.

To everyone’s surprise a 2nd Petal’s influence lingered. Nerion downed a healing potion, activated his symbiote, and attacked the clone(?). Shadow was charmed next. The Reaver grappled Ray after landing a hit. Petal tried more charm shenanigans, failed, then kissed Shadow for damage. Shadow stunned Ray in turn, and Petal used Shadow to zap him.

Sinsear restored Ike, who then recovered his chi and blasted Petal with his pop guns. Ray remained stunned. Nerion restored Shadow, drank another potion, and Warding Bonded him. Shadow dropped the stun on Rayven.

Finally, Petal morphed into a dragon (because of course she did), bathed Nerion and Shadow in poison fire, and vanished into a swirl of mirror images.

(Yeah. That sounds good enough for gubmint work.)

Session 126: 9th Belesh
7775 gold in pocket / 0 Concordance

The session begins with The Negotiator Shadow, lamenting at not being able to cast his spell, making a deal with the devil to gamble a chance to cast a spell that might actually have an impact on the game, after years of Legendary Saving Throws. Running forward, Shadow cast Feeble Mind on Petal, and expends an action to make an Arcana check against Petal to hide the true nature of the spell, Winning the roll, and successfully concealing the spell, Feeble Mind is casted, and while in Dragon form, Petal is reduce to a mere beast.

Sinsear then comes forward, casting Gravitational Collapse, but she was able to resist, on pure instinct. Ike then grabs Ray by the ba… collar, and drags him up to the roof where he drops Ray unceremoniously by her buttsholes, and he then grapples her wing, attempting to land the beast. Nerion then Dimension Doors Shadow and himself up to the roof. Petal teleports away and Ike falls to the roof. She unleashes a wave of vines, restraining some of the party.

She then tries to seduce Ray

Shrek Film Smile GIF by PeacockTV

She then beats Shadows ass due to his early transgressions and he goes down. Haste breaks on him and Ike, costing Ike his turn. Sinsear then heals Shadow. Ray and Nerion beat her ass alil and she finally reverts back into human form, still feeble minded and acting purely on instinct.

Petal attempts to flee. Shadow flings Ike near her and cast Feather Fall on everyone, hot in pursuit. She then teleports away again at Ikes sudden appearance. Ike then runs up the wall, thanks to Sinsear recasting Ally of Time and begins his assault, first kicking her in the face, dealing a massive amount of damage, both physically and emotionally, despite her emotions being in ruin due to the Feeble Mind.

During the mid-game break, Sinsear commits to DM’ing a session once his mother passes away.

The session begins and Shadow and Sinsear combo some nonsense. Shadow casts Reality Break and it lands; Sinsear casts Fracture but it gets legendary resisted. Ike then continues his onslaught. Petal unleashes a breathe of vile green energy. Battle continues, damage is dealt, then Ray comes in with a smashing final blow, knocking and throwing Petal into Nerions arms. Just as Nerion is about to catch her, unconscious, Reality Break hits her, knocking both her and Nerion to the ground. Nerion then gives a speech that would merit contacting UDL HR, killing her instantly. Nerion then runs quickly to the bathroom, clutching his anus and forfeiting loot.

+3 of any weapon or armor type we would want, we each get 2, no attunement, from searching the fortress and we find. Nerion reclaims the claws from Petal.

These claws/nails would deal 4d8 slashing 4d6 poison, increase your gayness by +3, and look fabulous and green.

We also find 45k gold.

In the battle’s aftermath, 24 members of the Bitter Sacrifice convert to Myrkul, while the rest are disposed of. After debating the distribution of looted enchanted armor, Shadow transports the new followers to the Temple of Servitude Undying. Before leaving, the party notices a flicker of power in the infernal portal and investigates. Rayven fiddles with the arcane circuitry, and Ike applies soul-infused percussive maintenance, activating the portal. Shadow interfaces with the driving entity, accessing the same list of destinations as before but sensing additional ones could be configured with significant time investment.

The party returns to the Temple, informs the King of the Bitter Sacrifice’s demise, and invites him to a celebration. Shadow opens his magnificent penitentiary to examine the fire giant, who has been singing “It’s a Small World” for weeks. He appears to be obsessively creating Myrkulite iconography out of living flame. After a thorough Psych eval, Ike determines that he is prepared to be a dependable ally. The giant hands out flaming merchandise to the populace, Some people get burnt. The party presents him to Deeter, who, though skeptical, grows intrigued by the giant’s ability to craft living fire and begins constructing a Stonehenge-esque home for him for Samuel Burny McBurnface the Myrkulite Fire Giant.

That night, as the party sleeps, they share a vision of the Dragonfather, Toruk, in an unearthly human form with his true form’s shadow stretching behind him. Nerion prays loudly to Myrkul, drawing Toruk’s ire. Toruk blasts the party with a wave of energy, threatens to cast out their souls, and sifts through their minds. He gains knowledge of realms beyond his own and considers the possibilities of expansion before snapping back to the moment, shouting, “Caen is mine!” and reaffirming his resistance to Myrkul’s occupation. Nerion’s continued prayers aggravate him, he sends out a blast of cold fire and silences Nerion. After restoring his voice, Nerion tries and fails to intimidate Toruk. As Toruk prepares another blast, a statue behind him cracks, and Myrkul’s hand erupts, crushing and dispelling Toruk’s avatar. Myrkul bids the party to finish their mission and withdraws.

Another figure, Venethrax, a Lich of Cryx and scholar of the Dragon, steps into the light. Formerly Toruk’s servant, he was usurped by Noiren. He seeks power in the coming world in exchange for helping the group dethrone the dragonfather but hesitates to fully join Myrkul’s order. After negotiation, he agrees to follow Myrkul in exchange for control of Cryx. The party seals the pact with a “handshake,” gaining advantage on Necromancy arcana checks, +2 to necrotic damage, and a Soulveil amulet. Venathrax reveals that in three days, the Soulflame Express departs, carrying the Lich Lords to Toruk’s lair for three days of debauchery—a tactic of Toruk’s to prevent open hostilities among them. The party are to be his retinue, adopting new names and backgrounds for the trip. The amulets will provide Cryxian disguises. Assasination of the other Lich Lords is off limits for the trip, their flunkys are questionable, but avoiding undue attention is of the most importance.When Rayven asks a snarky question, Venathrax loses patience, and the party wakes up in the Temple. Before any further information is acquired, Ray asks a snarky question, Venethrax loses patience and the party wakes up back in the Temple.

Ray, drawing on his acquired knowledge of the realm, describes the other Lich Lords:

Asphyxious, a warcaster and former druid who eliminated Mortus and Demortus;

Divinitus, head of Toruk’s church;

Terminus, leader in the Orgoth war and warcaster;

Fulmenus, an Orgoth war survivor and necromancy researcher;

Tenebrous, another survivor and shadow lich specializing in espionage;

Malacrax, a Scharde pirate queen who betrayed her fleet for immortality and controls necromantic storms;

Voragoth, a former chieftain who betrayed his clan, commanding bonejacks and ferro-necromancy;

Sepharion, a crafter of soulcages fueling Cryx’s engines;

Nyxthera, a fallen Satyx matriarch ruling raiders and reaping souls;

Dravox, a disgraced Menite priest channeling necrotic fire and overseeing soulforges;

Zerathys, an Iosian mage hunter trading secrets for undeath and unraveling mortal spellcraft with shadow magic.

That evening, the King arrives, and the Temple and surrounding town celebrate the Bitter Sacrifice’s demise. It is decided that Seraphena Vera Railthorn, the accountant, sister of the king will be accompanying the group for the trip for … reasons?

There will definitely not be anything interesting happening on the train.

Asphyxious made his disdain for Venathrax obvious, while the other Liches behaved like typical politicians, cordial, calculated, and civil among peers. Nerion walked with Venathrax, charming the ladies as they talked. Venathrax reminded everyone he’d hunted Toruk’s rebellious children and claimed to understand the Dragon Father’s will better than anyone. Talk centered on who would become the next Governor of Khador.

Ike crept through the train, eavesdropping near the other Liches’ cars. He overheard complaints about Asphyxious being overly cautious and learned of a surprise inspection. He then relaxed in the entertainment car, enjoying poisoned blood wine and chatting with a musician named Denbar.

The party slept undisturbed. In the morning, they met privately with Venathrax under a shield of silence. Informed of the inspection, he advised them to stay in character. He suspected Zerathys and Malacrax might be open to new leadership. If confronted, he instructed us to strike hard, incapacitate, but don’t kill.

At breakfast, they encountered Tenebrous. One of Asphyxious’ followers smashed Nerion’s plate and accused the group of betrayal. Rayven stabbed him in the knee, Sinsear choked him with his mind, and Shadow cast Hold Person. The attacker only managed to flail at the table before being forced into a chair and served food and blood wine. Later, another retainer retrieved him without incident.

Mara and others came by to thank them for the entertainment. Mara, in particular, expressed interest in Sinsear, who responded with a sensual force choke that made her smile. After showing her ways he could modify her body, she accompanied him to a private room and revealed she’s a blood wine merchant for the Lich Lords—and wanted more of Sinsear later.

Rayven and Shadow visited the gambling car. Nerion went to the torture car. Ike returned to work on a project, and Sinsear joined him to meditate. Rayven befriended Silias, a member of Terminus’ retinue.

To be continued… with a surprise inspection.

Session 130

The party enjoyed a calm start: Shadow hunted rumors, Ike scoped the area, Sinsear rested, Rayven drank, and Nerion… enjoyed “juicy juice.”

The train screeched to a halt, sending passengers into clumsy chaos—though the staff pretended nothing happened. Nerion made some questionable social choices, and Rayven waved Sinsear over. Soon, two bonejacks boarded each car. Darren the Scar, under Lady Malacrax, ordered everyone to Car 13. Our car.

Rayven challenged Darren to a game of whaddafuq and won a meager payout. Then Lich Lord Assfixious arrived, searching for a traitor; a common theme with him apparently. Naturally, he suspected us. The party mocked him. Rayven “helicoptered” while Sin lifted Rayven into the air to simulate flight. LL Assfixious was not amused and ordered us to be put in chains. We agreed to cooperate only once Lich Lord Vennithrax arrived.

Somehow avoiding treason charges, we still faced arrest for “being dicks.” Ray planted Nerion’s Myrkul ring on Baleth, a member of LL Divinitus’s entourage. After it was discovered. Baleth was impaled, but not killed, by a bonejack. Baleth was interogated and his entourage taken away. Satisfied he caught the traitor, LL Assfixious sought the portrait car to show the ring to The Great and Awesome Wyrm Daddy… Torik.
The train resumed, and we disabled the rest of the rings to avoid inconvenient prank calls. When LL Vennithrax arrived, he let everyone else in the car go (though Baleth, still impaled, complained).

We returned back in our quarters, where we pitched LL Vennithrax a senseless plan. Ike and Shadow set a bomb, for giggles. Then the party staged a bizarre prisoner exchange while communicating with The Great and Awesome Wyrm Daddy Torik through the portrait: Ike faked capture, Nerion impersonated LL Vennithrax, and somehow… it worked.

The party stepped through a portal (the portrait), then the train exploded.

We found ourselves in a cavern glittering with crystals and icicles… and there stood The GAWD Torik.

Session 131

The session begins in spectacular fashion, with Sinsear turning on his camera for the first time! And what a cutie he is!

We enter into the Dragon fathers room, ostentatious with its gold adornments but rather dimly lit. We are hit by some kind of WIS aura, that we all succeed. All players break the fourth wall for a moment and wonder what the actual fuck Namor is doing here before snapping back into the moment.

As we all enter into the room, the portal behind us closes. His eyes anime sparkle. He kills our two patrons within an ice wall and shatter. 5 tears of reality are seen and form throughout the room, a “cable” Orc steps through one of the tears and charges Sinsear. Another tear opens up and what looks to a roguelike spellcaster comes through and tries to cast a spell, Shadow counters it.

Ray then shadow steps (anime flair) behind the orc. He critically strikes him, severing both hamstrings, in a twirl, sending the orc to he’s knees. Before he can recover, Ray then flourishes his dagger and, with lightning-fast speed, removes the orcs heart from his chest. The orc collapses to the ground and Ray flourishes the heart to Namor…. I mean the Dragon Father. During this time, Shadow, also pulled into the shadow realm, where he moves and then casts reverse gravity, where the other tears in reality are waiting.

A sniper spawns in and is yeeted 100 feet into the air, where he takes 3 shots at Shadow, missing all but one. Shadow casts Mirror Image and then Sinsear casts Ally of Time. Nerion casts a shorud type thing that gives us all half cover and 2 AC and +2 to DEX saves. 2 more people spawn and Gannon DMCheeses them to safety. Extra moldy cheese then occurs as Shadow drops reverse gravity, and the other mob stays in the air for reasons. Shadow then switches back to a gunner class cause fuck casters.

Counterspell galore of the cheesemasters. Ike and Ray then fuck Narrow six feet under. Another arrow from flyingcheese hits Sinsear and banishes him. Combat continues, more shenanigans ensure.

We end at the top of the turn order.

Narrows resists the effects of Sinsear’s Ally of Time and casts a spell that, for some indiscernible reason, remains indistinguishable even to Shadow, the master of Spellcraft and Arcane Lore. Ike lands a flurry of blows, kills Narrows, and absorbs his soul. He then grabs Cloud, drags him into the time-warped area, and stuns him. Rayven steps forward and attempts a backstab. Although it appears to strike true, adamantine armor deflects it, dealing only a fraction of the normal damage. Veyate continues to suffer under Shadow’s Darkstar but still fires a shot at Shadow. The shot misses but curves to hit Sinsear. Veyate then launches a lightning bolt at Shadow, reducing him to 1 HP. Shadow retaliates with a potent fireball, dropping Veyate to the ground. He then uses his Arcane Mastery to heal the party to full health. Sinsear, aware that Nerion craves a kill, steps back and uses the lull to harden his defenses. Nerion approaches the last remaining thrall and severs his neck.

The Dragonfather, Toruk, stands and laments his fun ending prematurely. He points at the soul cages and proclaims, “Those are mine,” before draining all visible cages. Nerion attempts a Tempest Slice, but it breaks harmlessly against Toruk’s chest. Toruk laughs and questions what the party intends to do to him in his own realm, remarking that the “fight” might at least prove mildly entertaining. He muses about modeling a line of Bonejacks after their corpses.

Toruk summons deathfrost shackles to pin Nerion, Rayven, Sinsear, and Ike, but they only restrain Rayven. Focusing on Rayven, Toruk stabs him. Ike steps forward with a proclamation of his coming damnation, and attacks Toruk twice, but both strikes are easily deflected. Toruk laughs. Before attacking further, Ike senses the god’s power amplified by specific points in his domain. He locks onto one and uses Abundant Step to teleport into an alcove containing a crystal pillar. He puts a couple significant dents in it, but the pillar retaliates with blasts of deathfrost. Ike withdraws to avoid further blasts, tossing a spare soul cage to Shadow on the way. Rayven stands and attempts to move away from Toruk but is knocked down again before reaching a vantage point to see the pillar. He still manages to fire an Umbra Bolt, destroying the pillar in a crystalline explosion.

Shadow uses Dimension Door to reach another secluded pillar and unleashes a Meteor Swarm, obliterating it. Toruk reiterates his confidence in the party’s demise despite the fracturing of his domain. Nerion drinks his experimental Oily Frost potion and prepares to attack when an opportunity arises. Toruk, straining slightly to resist Ally of Time, walks out of its effect. He attempts to charm Sinsear and Ike but only succeeds with Nerion. Toruk follows up with two swings at Sinsear, both missing. Ike runs to Shadow, grabs him, drinks a Potion of Giant Size, and grows to 20 feet tall. Toruk summons energy from the remaining pillars and attempts to fear group. Ike and Sinsear resist. Ike pulls a soul cage from the bag, and Shadow draws from it to cast another Meteor Swarm, destroying the remaining three pillars. Shadow stuffs the cage back into the bag. As he considers his next move, Shadow senses his future agency overshadowed by an indeterminate force.

Sinsear rejuvenates Nerion’s mind, curing the charm, then punches Toruk in the groin, no effect. Nerion prepares a bleed attack and hides behind a pillar, but Toruk walks around the pilar and charms him again. Toruk attempts to strike Sinsear, but even the demigod finds those nuts hard to crack. Instead, Toruk grabs Sinsear and drags him outside the time-warping cube. Distracted by the uncommonly heavy package hes holding, Toruk misses his next swing at Rayven. Ike approaches and draws upon the powers of Cimmerian and Necrolucent to sunder Toruk’s divinity. He looks on in shock as Ike finishes his proclamation and follows with three more attacks, bloodying Toruk. Toruk stabs Ike but fails to bring him down. The lair fills with deathfrost, chilling everyone, though Nerion’s potion takes the edge off.

Rayven attempts another backstab. Toruk howls in pain and sheds his humanoid form, declaring, “The gloves are off!” Deathfrost envelops the room’s edges. Rayven uses Shadowstride, taking Sinsear with him. In the Shadow Realm, Sinsear casts a quick buff on Rayven. Rayven reappears on the material plane and lands another backstab. Sinsear frees Nerion from the charm again.

Shadow then turns his focus inward and attempts to cast Wish, his most powerful spell, to bolster the party or weaken Toruk, or do anything of use. However, all he finds at the core of his power is a giant middle finger and the disembodied thought: “this is my story, dont fuck it up.” He then snaps back to the moment with the sudden realization that his metallic robes give him the distinct suggestion of an ambulatory trash can.

The REAL Session 133 log.

Session 133.

Toruk, the dragonfather now in his Dragonform faces our adventurers. He has some insane ramblings about “who..cant.. Trust anyone. Only me.. Myself..and I.. Oh yess….” and splits himself into three smaller dragon forms, spewing out dragonbreath, hitting most of the group for massive deathfrost damage. Meanwhile, a deathfrost mist is surrounding the walls, and ceiling. The party each take their turns, dealing as much damage as they can to these three versions. After a round, they bloody the dragonfather. “THE GLOVES ARE OFF, THIS ENDS NOW” and absorbs his other two forms, and becomes a black lightning bolt that bounces around the room, so fast, each bounce conjures a small dragon head, one of his within the deathfrost mist, pointing at the party. Soon the entire ceiling and all walls are covered in these heads.. “NOW… DIEE…” and the room is filled with his mighty empowered Deathfrost breath. Nowhere to go or escape to. Rayven survives, for one round longer than the rest, his Dark Templar ability keeping him up, but soon he succumbs. His corpse, joining the others, frozen and decaying. The party’s souls are pulled to just a few dozen feet above their corpses. Time almost frozen, as you can see the dragonfather manifest his form again, taking staggering breathes. Aside from the scene below you see Myrkul above you .. Overlapping with the grey wastes. And so Myrkul says “So..you fell. This was always seen as a possibility. But we have struck a mighty blow. Those pillars you have destroyed will weaken the dragonfather for Months. I have the power to escort your souls out of his domain and into your Phylacteries. But there is a cost…in souls… on Caen. Enough to break through the domain.” The area around you is a darkened place, you look below and see the battlefield, your corpses. A young ghost of a girl, light blue in tint, walks out from the shadows “I will do it. My soul is within the domain, you told you it would be enough” She turns to the party “I’m sorry I didn’t tell you, but this is the best way I can repay you all. It had to be a soul from here. From Caen… You all saved me. Gave me a chance to be more than I was…” as ghostly tears stream down her face.

She goes to hug Ike whom says “Lore will miss you. So will I”. She hugs Shadow who gives her a head pat. She walked to Sinsear who just stares at her “Always distant, she says, seemingly rebuffed”. She goes to Nerion and hugs him. Nerion wraps her and gives her a warm embrace. “I love you Dana, Thank you.” “Thank you too, thanks for helping me find who I was” “We will see each other again” “I don’t think so”. She ends the embrace and goes to Rayven whom says “The undead lords will always come back, you don’t have to sacrifice yourself, there is always a way. But if this is your choice..go with my love.” Dana jumps into Rayven’s arms and whispers to him “Thank you for giving me love” - Rayven squeezes her tight. As he squeezes Dana’s body breaks down into little blue motes… absorbed into the party.

The party awakens. Fully healed as if they had taken a long rest. Energy bursting from their body. Their minds sharpened. Their reflexes honed. They feel as if nothing, especially the dragonfather, can stop them now. But the effects are limited.

The dragonfather now, before his Treasure hoard, breathing deeply and sluggishly he looks upon the revitalized party.. “What… I..just.. Killed..you.. I feel… How .. Could this be?!”

Ike rises from a knee, and looks into his eyes, standing before the mighty dragonfather. “I told you, you would face our lord this day. This is the decree of your better. You have outlived your purpose and misused your power. This day we bring forth judgement. This day we affirm the death of a god. For in m fists a god’s death I sow.” With the magic words said, the Avatar Transformation begins.

"Time stands still, all beings frozen as the Gray Wastes overlaps your world. The dragonfather, held tight by two skeletal hands, myrkuls presence is palpable. You hear a smile in his voice, rare for this timeless being, as he says “Lets make this pompous and arrogant. Humiliation before his downfall is warranted.” The dragonfather seemingly unmoving but aware, his eyes tighten slightly. Chanting and Singing can be heard as Shadows close around Ike Hyran. Five monks in tattered robes emerge, their eyes glowing green. One lowers her hood—a beautiful undead siren. As they sing and chant
https://suno.com/s/CFjmZVGqV68oYDaR

“With Myrku’s blessing, I decree—your godliness ends with me” The ground shakes, a blackened casket rises, bound by ethereal chains that clank sharply. The monks chant, the siren’s wail weaving in as the lid creaks open. Ike, pain rips your flesh away—skin and sinew torn, lifted into the casket. It slams shut, chains wail, locking tight. The monks press hands to the casket—one white, one purple—beams of light and shadow pierce through. Ike, your skin turns obsidian, radiating power. Jagged bones form armor, skull-pauldrons glow with radiant and necrotic energy. Spines erupt, a horned helm crowns you, its gem pulsing white to black. The siren’s wail crescendos—the casket bursts! Ike Hyran, you rise, avatar of Myrkul—left fist radiant, right shadowed with lashing tendrils. In my fists, a god’s death I sow!"[Pause, then low and steady]

“The monks and siren kneel. The ground pulses with your new power, Ike. What do you do?”

He shouts to the dragonfather :

“from the grave, I ascend where the mortal and divine end. Bound in chains, forged in cold, eclipsing powers ancient bold, through the night, through the pain I shattered stars, I break the chain. Cimmerian wrath, Necrolucent Glow, in my fists a god’s death I sow. Death has abandoned you. And now it will find you! From the grey wastes and the shattered plains I call for Shackles from the Dark one who remains. Be bound in Shadows by Stygian Chains.” As Ike commands the ghostly hands of Myrkul to hold tight his Stygian chains upon Toruk and begins to pummel the Dragonfather, each hit a critical blow.

Each Member, dealing critical blow after critical, their spells maximized and unable to be resisted, over 1700 damage dealt in the span of one turn with Nerion getting the finishing blow using his Tempest Slice, cutting Toruk in two. As he dies, power spews out from him, and out into the world, its as if a whole of souls just came out of the underworld.. Everywhere across the planet, Thralls and those empowered by the dragonfather’s magic either lost their prowess or completely disintegrated, no longer held together by a bit of his essence. He lair, too, begins to shudder and crumble. The party has to quickly gather what they can and move out, succeeding in getting many awesome things and lots of gold before teleporting to the temple of servitude undying. Where they rest for a week, celebrate with King Julius who helps throw them a feast, and then with Venethrax’s help they move on Skell, the capital of Cryx. The party strongarms there way in, killing those who would resist and setting themselves up as the slayer of the dragonfather and new defacto rulers of Cryx, alongside Venethrax. As they plant the Obelisk, Mykrul grants them a boon, and the party asks for Dana to be rekindled. Myrkul cannot bring her back as she was, but instead brings her as a Undead Flesh and blood woman, in Skell, and assigns her as a priestess.

Session 134 - Epilogue.

Over the next month, things calm down, slowly. There are some attacks on the Obelisk as it matures but nothing our group can’t handle. After that month Myrkul congratulates them on their job, and says to spend another year here, fortify the planet, and then return for their next task.

Final Campaign Log: Year of Dominion (Post-Session 133)Date: October 13, 2025 – October 13, 2026
Location: Caen and Beyond (Gray Wastes Influence, Skell, Cryx)

Overseer: Myrkul’s Will, Guided by the Soul Wardens

Context: With the Dragonfather’s fall and the obelisk’s planting in Skell, the Soul Wardens dedicate a year to fortifying Caen under Myrkul’s dominion. This final chapter weaves triumph, treachery, and transformation into a lasting legacy, marking the end of their epic journey.

Rayven’s Dark Ascendancy

Rayven, hardened by survival and Dana’s sacrifice, founds the Order of the Kneeling Blade, a sect of Myrkulites forged in pain and power. Initiates prove their devotion through a ritual of a dagger to the knee, a mark of unyielding loyalty. He molds a legion of Dark Templars, teaching them to strike with deadly force at any slight, their creed a hymn to dominance. Many perish in this brutal training, felled by law enforcement drawn by their zeal, leaving only a rare few to carry the mantle. In a tempest of rage, Rayven razes the Badger Village, its ashes a monument to his iron will, scattering its people into the shadows.

Nerion’s Antirayfa Doctrine

Nerion establishes the Sect of Antirayfa, a subtle counter to Rayven’s brutality, rooted in stealth and cunning. Its doctrine rejects knee-stabs against the honorable, favoring silent backstabs as a mark of finesse, echoing Nerion’s Tempest Slice legacy. With treachery as their blade, Antirayfa agents infiltrate the Dark Ascendancy, sowing a perverse tradition—urine-laced beer. Through whispered deals and tainted mugs, they’ve turned barfolk into reluctant accomplices, ensuring Dark Ascendancy members face this humiliation or a knee-stab from their own. Taverns become arenas of silent rebellion, where pride drowns in bitter draughts.

Magnus and Deeter’s Mechanized Vanguard

Magnus and Deeter, masters of Iron Kingdoms craft, birth a vision of space-deployable warjacks and bonejacks, blending mechanika with the necrotic pulse of Myrkul. Their Skell workshop resonates with the clang of metal and the flicker of soulfire, crafting constructs destined for the stars. These machines await the purge of infernal forces, their purpose tied to teleportation hubs linking Caen to nascent space stations, a bridge between worlds forged in steel and shadow.

Whosdad’s Arcane Academy

Whosdad, a beacon of arcane wisdom, creates the Magic of Wish and Cardomancy course, an esteemed offering at the Gun Mage/Sorcerer Academy. Drawing from Shadow’s perilous experiments, he teaches the delicate dance of Wish spells and cardomancy, guiding students through tales of triumph and caution. His classroom hums with the energy of controlled chaos, nurturing a new lineage of sorcerers ready to shape destiny.

Ike’s Monastic Purge and Rat Bomb Mastery

Ike, risen as Myrkul’s high priest, orchestrates a sacred exchange between two monk temples, purging those who stray from the faith with cold precision. He schools his initiates in the dark art of poisons, their brews a silent scourge across Caen’s underbelly. With Sinsear, he perfects the Rat Bomb, a grotesque marvel of explosive rodents unleashed by psychic will. Deeter and Magnus refine its deployment, turning warjacks into harbingers of chaos on the battlefield.

Sinsear’s Psychic Legion

Sinsear dedicates the year to raising a Psychic Death Squad, scouring Caen for minds of power. He gathers two psychic geniuses and twenty lesser talents, forging them into a unified force. Among them shines his #1 apprentice, Kael Draven, a lean figure with piercing silver eyes and a rune-scarred scalp that pulses with faint psychic light. Standing tall at 6’2”, his wiry frame is draped in tattered black robes that ripple with energy, his scarred hands bearing the marks of his craft. Once a street enforcer from Skell, Kael’s loyalty to Sinsear was born from a life saved in a mindstorm purge, his ambition a quiet fire. He wields Psychic Detonation, channeling explosive force with eerie precision, setting traps that unravel enemies in bursts of psychic might. Under Sinsear’s guidance, Kael leads the squad with a chilling intensity, their mindstorms a herald of domination.Broader Impact

  • Obelisk Maturation: The obelisk in Skell stands resolute, its necrotic aura a testament to the Wardens’ victory, weathering minor assaults with ease.

  • Caen’s Fortification: Cities bow to the Wardens’ rule, though tensions simmer—Rayven’s sect wars with Nerion’s, while infernal echoes linger in the shadows.

  • Myrkul’s Farewell: After a year, Myrkul’s spectral voice praises their deeds, unveiling a final task beyond Caen’s horizon, a whisper of cosmic destiny to come.
