SESSION 87

After much debate on things that will get us killed, we decided to have Kris launch a fireball that hit the deck, causing little bit of damage to the crew. No damage to the boat or propulsion device. In all the brainstorming the enemy flagship pulled aside our boat and a familiar voice rang out….Its arcanist Doan. He froze the space between the two boats, locking the two in place. Doan cast a hurricane type storm on his enemy’s craft causing some damage to some and holding Kris suspended.

Ray and his faithful gimp Lukas decided to jump on the narwhal and fly towards Doan. The narwal instantly died and the battle commenced. Seek managed to pull Kris to the ground and heal her before making his way to assist the others. He was met on the ice by two enemy’s that engaged him. Yavo moved to assist seek in his engagement.

After some exchanges between the boys and Doan he froze Lukas in a block of ice and moved down under the ship. Ray with obvious head trauma, but a still gorgeous wenis proceeded to follow and was closed in by Doan as he froze the entrance. Kris who felt left out of the battle did the most amazing….most epic…most incredible acrobatic most using her rapier to unleash hell on a Tesla coil.

Lukas broke out his ice cocoon and used his magic to teleport to a knocked out ray below. Now in a predicament where he was all alone with Doan and his clones, he awaited the rest of the group.

Thanks to Nighthours efforts One pf the mysterious Tesla coils has indeed been disabled (final effect to be determined ! )

Ray is revived via suppository by Nalthar and the melee continues ! Doan lobs a disintegrate at nalthar and ports off into the distance . Meanwhile spinnock pushes a foe to his death and Doan liberally blasts off cold spells . Nighthour is the meantime is amusing herself turning foes into snails.Yavo moves around looking for targets and finds several candidates for a game of lob the telephone pole .The party is kept busy with minions while Doan casts MORE icewalls . big mistake on the placement of said wall ! having ported close to spinnock Doan leaves himself open for a real lumping courtesy of Spinnock with Rays special buff .Nalthar mistysteps to and fro . Melee may continue.

Session 88.5 One-shot game

Location: Southeast border between Mulgore and The Barrens.

Game Date: after the destruction of the crossroads and directly before the party finds out they’re heading to the eastern continent.

Part of the party Nalthar/VanRay/Spinnock/Nighthour go to explore an abandoned mine, they find while traveling near Katabasis.As they enter the tunnel down in to the darkness they feel their magic’s dim to nothingness, crossing the wards of the tunnel. As they progress they come to a decrepit stone bridge in a vast cavern where the darkness appears to creep over the edges of the bridge itself. With a bit of skill, and an extravagant amount of luck the party manages to creep across finding their magic’s returning. The party moves forward into a much more recently excavated area surrounded by the remnants of a horde mining area centered on a deep gorge down into the stone. After finding out the pit is over a 1000 meters deep the group decides to go down into it. They pause to reinforce the depth crane that is positioned over the annulus.

As the party goes down, slowly, they land in a vast chamber of ancient and polished craftsmanship. The smooth stone floors are filled with an array of lifelike stone statues of all the races of Azeroth. The statues are of warriors dressed for battle from a thousand different cultures, from arrows and silks to broadswords with plate male. But each of the heads follow the movements of the party, irrelevant to the positons of their limbs. The party follows the trail of the magical circuitry in the stone floor to the center dais. The stone stares follow. Eventually the party rotate the round flared bases of the statues to allow each of the individuals to face the dais directly. Magical energy flows from the statues into the dais, channeled into raising a wall from the far end. The wall raises to show a door of titanic proportions.

VanRay and Nalthar both mark the door with their tongues. VanRay making sure to hit the same spot. The door swings opens easily. As the party enters, VanRay slams the door shut behind them. They see the disrupted sleepy gaze of 8 pairs of eyes. The crystal hydra raises it’s heads and the Doom Doom Master calls for initiative.

While there is a powerful appearing crystal along the back wall, it remains out of reach. As the party tries to advance on the hydra, they quickly learn that the creature follows the old legends. If one head is destroyed, two shall take its place. Unless the neck is cauterized. They also quickly learn that fire is not the correct element for this creature. After much trial and error it is determined that lightning, the elemental power in very small supply in this group, is the creature’s weakness.

As the creature plods towards the group the heads are able to strike out distinctively with surprising speed and range, preventing the attack of the main body. The group works together to try to kill the hydra, resulting in the budding of even more heads. The group starts to drag and moral falls but they are able to figure the patterns of the monster. Following their curse of malapropos, as Nalthar charges his sword with the power of lightning, he and VanRay find themselves caught up in their ongoing sexual tension. VanRay attempts to aid Nalthar, pushing into him, grinding hips on hips as they advanced on the creature with Nalthar’s sword, finding a rhythm that left them both panting. As Nalthar yanked VanRay’s body into position both men cried out as the sword flew in an arching blow. They manage to land the death blow on the creature. Though we shall never know if it was the power of the strike, or the sheer chagrin of the poor hydra being involved in the orgy. As VanRay and Nalthar are caught in the blowback of the death throes of the creature, they find themselves splayed upon the ground with quivering limbs. As their limbs tremble, boneless with exhaustion and covered in a glisten of undead sweat, their grasping hands remained locked in a desperate need to remain connected.

Spinnock and Nighthour, now in states of good health, move towards the crystal of power. They either willfully unaware or apathetic to the scene of carnal romance that unfolded. The hydra would never forget.

Notes: The mechanical systems of Doan’s ship seems to start to cut out after his death.Kris Grabs Nalthar and dimensional doors onto the boat.Nalthar gives Yovos gun fire damage. After which a rift of magic pierces through and Doan flies out of the bag of holding with a necklace and says he’s going to take better care of it then we did. He then encases himself into a wall of force and monologues and enhances the links of ice between the ships. He says he is still here after undeath. Ray basically stands still and seeks to run to a railing to stay secure. Yavo orders the crew to make an SOS call to the ground units of the Argent Dawn. Kris turns into a hawk along with the crew leader. Nalthar falls off the boat and at the last second teleports down the ground and lands in the super hero landing. Yavo, similar to Narthal, shoots 5 shots right before hitting the ground causing a lot less impact damage. VanRay tries to slow his momentum with his +1 penis but fails and tanks the fall anyway. Off to the North we see the enemy cavalry line is approaching us. We fight a bunch of cripples. We have completed 4 rounds of combat.

The monologue

“You think you’ve won. You always do, in moments like these. Weapons in hand, powerful breath in your lungs, the illusion of control wrapped tight around your hearts.”

“But look around you. Feel it. The sky itself rejects you now. The cold wind of the north freezes upon your skin. No ground to claim, no victory to stand upon—only the long fall.”

“I was flesh, once. Fragile. Bound by the same rules that will soon drag you screaming into the earth.”

“But I am not bound anymore.”

“You killed a body. You did not kill me.”

“So go on—cling to each other, pray to your gods, scramble for some desperate miracle…”

“I wonder if you will manage to survive…”

Notes:
The party begins still in the gullies of the mountain amid the wreckage of the fallen ships. A giant ball of ice still continues to hover in the air far above them. The party is expecting reinforcements soon.
The party has effectively broken the charge of the Scourge Gravechariot Reavers, however they have been trapped and surrounded, but maintain the high-ground on the bridge on one of the broken ships.
As the party makes headway against the cavalry, 4 Frostwail Bone Harriers attack from the sky. The Party’s reinforcements are in sight, but delayed by another larger batch of Bone Harriers. The enemy army is also coming into view.
The game ends before the Harriers manage their dive bomb on the party.

Frostwail Bone Harriers sweep down to attack the party who keep picking us up and flying in the air. They beat Vanray down, but he refuses to let unlife go. Seek kills the same guy 5 times before it finally goes down. Kris is kidnapped and taken 225 feet into the air, but she dimension doors to come back down! The party unleashes their attacks killing all but 1 Harrier when the army finally gets to us to push the attack…
