What game are you applying for?
Crowfall
What is your character name?
Anima
Why do you want to join UDL?
Have a long history (since 1990s) of playing PvP and other games; have always enjoyed being part of a very good guild with strong leadership. I remember UDL particularly from games like Shadowbane and others, and was excited to see that you were active in Crowfall. At this time, I am only playing Crowfall, but assuming things work well on both sides, would gladly extend to other games that UDL has a presence in.
How did you find out about our guild?
Have played games where you have had a presence and generally was impressed.
Describe your past MMO experiences
Playing games for a long, long time and got active in online PvP and MMOs in the 1990s. Asherons Call, Ultima, DAoC, Shadowbane, vanilla WoW, etc.
In Shadowbane we had our own (with friends) small guild that we used to support others, primary Morloch’s Vengeance, as I recall. In vanilla/classic WoW when there was open world PvP I was part of Sturmgrenadier [SG] but left when I stopped playing that game quite some years (decade+?) ago.
Have not been active in other PvP games really in the last 5-10 years, looking to get back into it.
Do you have anything to prove you are an exceptional gamer?
Not really; I am a good player, not sure I am exceptional, but one that can contribute many roles and stay focused on larger (e.g., guild) goals rather than pursuit of my own e-peen – maybe that is exceptional?
I am sure I have been part of “server firsts” and certainly some things the alliance did in Shadowbane and what SG did in vanilla WoW were solid, but I don’t have anything recently.
Do you have a member of UDL who can vouch for you?
What is your preferred play style?
PvP - Small Scale: true
PvP - Large Scale: true
Crafting/Gathering: false
Questing/Raiding: false
Tell us a little about yourself.
I’m an ‘experience’ (read: older) gamer, so that brings with it both plusses and minuses I guess. But I have a long history of gaming and understand what takes to contribute to a functioning guild.
I have an MD and a PhD so I would likely bring up the educational attainment average of the group?
I enjoy having strong leadership and structure of a good guild, and am flexible in taking on roles as needed (although I am not particularly interested in crafting, I am happy to support others in this domain) although my interest is primarily in PvP of all sorts.
Which is your strongest pillar? Which is your weakest?
Strongest would be Honor and Professionalism, these are ‘baked in’ to who I am and things I would do regardless of context.
Weakest would be Loyalty and Respect at this point as I don’t yet have the history (other than reading through your history tab on the website) to understand and appreciate the nuances of UDL.
