Application to WoW - Kelthal

New Member
1. Why do you want to join UDL? (Minimum: 1 paragraph)
I am looking for a guild that is more than guild, more like a family that has been around forever. I do not like the feeling of joining a guild with the feeling that at anytime the guild could be gone. I have played against you guys quite a bit in LoA and always looked forward to fighting you and sometimes with you. I love to PvP and it pretty much the reason I play MMO's. The most important factor though is the sense of playing and growing with some cool/chill people.

2. What is your character name, and what does it mean to you?
Kelthal, honestly when I first got this name it was just a random from the character selection screen back in EQ. I dont know I have just kind of grown to like it and I have stuck with it ever since.

3. How did you find out about our guild? Do you have a member of UDL who can vouch for you?
I found out about this guild while playing Legends of Aria. I was in Infamous for a long time and we had many encounters with you guys. Even fought along side you a few times. I was in Discord voice chat a few times with you guys and it seemed like a good time. Didn't spend enough time with anyone for someone to vouch for me unless they remember fighting in LoA.

4. When do you usually play? Are there days/times when you are consistently unavailable? What country/timezone do you live in?
I usually play weeknights and weekends during the evenings. Maybe only a couple hours at night during the week but on weekends I usually play 5-6 hours in the evenings. I am unavailable most Wednesday nights but that is about it. I have a wife and 4 kids so sometimes life gets in the way but I am as much as possible. I am US, EST timezone.

5. Describe your past MMO experiences. What is your guild history?
I have played just about every MMO from Ultima Online on. Whether it was for a week or playin DAOC for 9 years, I have at least dabbled in most MMO's. I ran a guild in DAOC called The Knights Templar for several years. For the most part when I play MMO's if I find a good guild that is where I stay. I am not a guild hopper.

6. Tell us a little about yourself. Age? Likes and dislikes? Anything at all you'd like to share. Here is your chance to set yourself apart from other applicants. (Minimum: 1 paragraph)
I am 35 years old and live in Indianapolis, IN. I have been married for 10 years and have 4 children. I like spending time with family and doing whatever activities we can come up with. Going to amusement parks, swimming, etc. I am one of the few individuals that really enjoy my job, I am a network engineer for a school district here around Indianapolis. I dislike drama, drama is just a hassle and I really do not have time to deal with it.

7. What is your preferred play style? PvP, crafting, gathering, or any combination of these?
I always prefer PvP but will sometimes craft on the side but will rarely get to max because almost always get side tracked with PvP going on.

8. What excites you the most about the game you are applying for?
Its just different than my normal type of MMO. I have played WoW for just a few days in the past but never really got into it. There is nothing out now that excites me so I am going to give this a go. I have heard classic WoW world PvP is a blast so I am looking forward to trolling some people questing. This is my game for the near future until Camelot Unchained comes out.

9. Based on the document you were directed to read, "Being an Undead Lord", which is your strongest pillar? Which is your weakest?
I would say that my strongest pillar is loyalty. Once I find a good tight knit guild I am with it until the end. I do not enjoy guild searching so once I find the right fit I will do whatever I can to help them out. My weakest pillar would have to be dedication in just the sense that I do not have the free time that I once had when I was younger. When I do have free time I am usually online playing something. I will contribute anything that I can just sometimes I cannot make scheduled events.
